My Long Term Project.

One of the projects I have been working on the depiction of various government leaders and others who I feel have made a positive impact on our world. Those leaders are helping to make changes so the world of tomorrow will be a better place for everyone.

I have painted the former Czech President Vaclav Havel in 1992, Pope John Paul II in 1997, Mother Theresa 1998, New York City Mayor and Presidential Candidate Rudolph Giuliani in 1998, U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer in 2001, Founder and Executive Director of the Congress of Italian-Americans Organization, Inc., Mary C. Sansone in 2007, and New York City Mayor Michael. R. Bloomberg in 2009. (Presentation on November 7th 2009 in the Grand Prospect Hall)

I recently began just started to create a very unusual portrait of the U.S. President Barack Obama filled with symbols and dignity, but full of symbols and dignity.

My documentary work explores the classical approach to portrait rendition. My goal is to portray the leaders in a very positive way, and with important everlasting symbols of their achievements. I recreate the spirit and personality of my subjects by integrating sensitivity and research to the portraits.
